U SPORTS RECAP: A second bronze medal in a row for the Gee-Gees

QUEBEC CITY - The Ottawa Gee-Gees defeated the Dalhousie Tigers 91-83 on Sunday afternoon in the bronze medal match at the 2024 GreenShield U SPORTS Final 8 Men's Basketball Championships at the Laval University PEPS in Quebec City. 

The Gee-Gees step on the podium for a second straight year after also winning bronze in 2023 in Halifax.

Participating as the wildcard team for this tournament, the Gee-Gees were trailing the Tigers by three at the half. However, the Gee-Gees scored 25 points in each of the final two quarters to turn the tables and conclude their 2023-24 on a win.

Justin Ndjock-Tadjore shined all afternoon and completed the game with 26 points and nine rebounds. He scored 18 of these points in the second half, including 13 in the final quarter.
