OTTAWA GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
  • The Gee-Gees are undefeated on home court and will be welcoming one of their biggest rivals to Montpetit Hall on Friday night. They will look to maintain an 8-0 record at home while keeping the Gaels at bay.
  • Last season, Ottawa saw their run for the U SPORTS championship come to an end at the hands of Queens. This is a revenge game for the Gee-Gees.
  • In their last meeting with Ontario Tech, the Gee-Gees pulled out a 69-66 win. Justin Ndjock-Tadjore led the way with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

  • The Gaels just saw their 13-game win streak end with a 102-100 loss to the Brock badgers. The team will face off against challenging opponents for the remainder of the season with two meetings against Ottawa and Carleton and meeting with Laurentian and Nipissing in between.
  • In the U SPORTS semifinal, Luka Syllas was a dominant force against the Gee-Gees, logging 20 points with seven rebounds and two steals.
