• The Gee-Gees enter the weekend with the conference's second-best penalty kill. Their 89.7 penalty kill percentage is just one-tenth of a percentage behind the Western Mustangs. 
• Kevin Domingue now has goals in three of his last four games.
• Rookie defenceman Dominic Cormier continues his bright start to the season. With a pair of assists last weekend, Cormier now has 10 points, the fourth-most among OUA defencemen.

• Forward Drake Lindsay is enjoying a breakout campaign. His 11 points in as many games are just one shy of his total for all of 2018-19. The fourth-year mustered just one assist through his first two seasons at Nipissing.

• Ottawa and Laurentian met in the first round of the OUA playoffs last season. The Gee-Gees swept the Voyageurs in two games with decisive 8-1 and 5-1 victories.
• Netminder Mackenzie Savard has made the most saves in the conference this season – 448 through 12 appearances. He has started all but two games for the Voyageurs.
