OTTAWA GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Tries: Mercedes Cole – 8
- Coverts: Claire Gallagher – 19
- The Gee-Gees continued their winning ways last week, cruising to a victory over the Bishop's Gaiters 104-3. It was the team's first time reaching the 100-point plateau since 2018.
- Seven of Mercedes Cole's team-leading eight tries have come in the last two games, including four against the Gaiters. The Ajax, Ont., product earned Gee-Gees Athlete of the Week honours for her performance.
- This will be Ottawa's final regular season home game. A win would secure them a home playoff game, most likely against the Ravens or the Concordia Stingers the weekend of October 15.
CARLETON GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Tries: Maya Addai – 11
- Converts: Vanessa Chiappetta – 12
- Carleton lost their first game of the season last weekend, falling to the number three-ranked Laval Rouge & Or 36-0.
- Maya Addai leads the RSEQ with 11 tries and is second with 61 total points. Addai started the season strong, scoring seven tries against Sherbrooke on Sept. 1.
- The Ravens will face the Concordia Stingers next week at TAAG Park in Ottawa. That game will most likely determine which teams are seeded third and fourth for the playoffs.
